# Other agents

> Connect any compatible remote MCP client through OAuth and verify the four-tool surface.

Deep Recall works with clients that support remote Streamable HTTP MCP and the server’s OAuth authorization flow.

## Add a remote server

Name the connection **Deep Recall** and set its remote HTTP URL to:

```text
https://api.getdeeprecall.com/mcp
```

Choose automatic authentication or OAuth. Let the client discover the authorization endpoints, open the browser, and ask you to sign in. Review the requested permissions.

If the client supports only a local command or a static API key, that configuration alone is not a compatible Deep Recall connection. Use a supported client rather than inventing a bearer token.

## Confirm access

Read access provides `recall` and `ask`. Write access permits `remember` and `forget`, including permanent deletion. The tools a client lists and the permissions it can use are separate checks.

Ask the agent to save a harmless fact, allow time for processing, then recall the same fact in a new conversation. Verify the source in [the app](https://getdeeprecall.com/app).

## Add persistent guidance

Install [the memory skill](https://getdeeprecall.com/skills/deep-recall/SKILL.md) if your client supports skills. Otherwise give it explicit instructions to recall focused context and save useful information you state or adopt, preserving dates and uncertainty.

Developers should continue with [agent integration](/agents/get-started/) and [authentication reference](/reference/authentication/).
