What is Deep Recall?
Deep Recall is a hosted personal memory that your connected AI assistants can use across conversations.
Each person has one brain. You choose which assistants connect to it, and you can inspect and manage the memories yourself. An assistant can save something useful, find related memories later, or ask a question grounded in what you have saved.
The problem it solves
Section titled “The problem it solves”Useful context gets scattered across tools and chats: a preference you explained to Claude, a decision made with ChatGPT, or a detail in a document. When that context stays inside one tool, another assistant may need you to explain it again.
Deep Recall gives supported assistants a common place to look. You keep the context while choosing the tool that works for the task.
What a memory looks like
Section titled “What a memory looks like”You might say:
I prefer quiet places for dinner, especially when we are meeting after work.
Deep Recall extracts useful information from the text. A later assistant can find that preference before suggesting a restaurant. The stored memory keeps context about when it was learned and where it came from, so you can inspect the evidence.
Memories can also describe people, project decisions, experiences, commitments, or temporary plans. You do not need to turn everything into a permanent preference.
How you use it
Section titled “How you use it”- Through an assistant: connect Deep Recall, then ask it to remember or find something.
- In the app: browse memories, use Find or Ask, and manage what stays available.
- From a source: upload a supported document or forward email to your brain’s address.
The app and connected agents use the same account’s memories. A new account or a different sign-in does not automatically share that brain.
What to expect
Section titled “What to expect”Saving can take time. Extraction decides what is useful; reconciliation can update related unpinned memories rather than creating a new record for every sentence. Recall can miss relevant information, and generated answers can be wrong. Follow sources for important details.
Deep Recall is hosted. Your chosen assistant receives the memories it recalls. Read privacy and control before deciding what to save.
