Manage memories
Review your memories and decide what your assistants should be able to use.
Inspect a memory
Section titled “Inspect a memory”Open Memory, select a memory, and review its content, kind, learned date, saver, and sources. Use available filters to narrow the list, or Find for a specific detail.
Dates and attribution explain the record; they do not guarantee that its content is correct. Check the source when a detail matters.
Pin something important
Section titled “Pin something important”Choose Pin in the memory detail to protect it from automatic replacement during ingestion. Unpin it when that protection is no longer useful. A pinned memory can still be archived or deleted by the human controls.
Correct a memory
Section titled “Correct a memory”Tell your connected assistant exactly what changed and ask it to save the correction with the relevant date and scope. Then find the affected memories and inspect the result.
If an incorrect older memory still appears, archive it. A pinned memory will not be automatically replaced, so review its pin before expecting reconciliation to update it. There is no promise that one new sentence repairs every related memory.
Archive and restore
Section titled “Archive and restore”Choose Archive to hide a memory from normal recall while preserving it. Open Archive and choose Restore to make an archived memory active again.
Archive is the right choice when you want recoverable removal. Restoring an archive does not make every expired or superseded record current; those lifecycle states have different meanings.
Delete permanently
Section titled “Delete permanently”Use the permanent deletion action and review its confirmation. This cannot be undone through Restore. Export first if you need your own copy.
Deleting a memory does not delete a document or email original that supported it. Use Documents to manage those sources separately.
For account-wide memory clearing, see Settings. Connected agents should use permanent deletion only when you explicitly request it.
